- Sustainable Agriculture Design

Agriculture has existed for over 10,000 years ago. However, the impact on the environment took an adverse turn when Agriculture moved into a new era of cash cropping where large-scale intensive farming systems were introduced for profit and sale.  Technological  & Scientific advancement further strain the bio-load on the planet by allowing the population to boom across all continents. To meet the demand of the increasing population, land clearance for intensive farming became a course of action. Majority of modern agriculture practices utilize heavy machinery, artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides which strains and exploits the environment.
