27th-28th November 2018 – National Environment Agency Corporate Environment Champions Training 2017.
Professionals from the various industries, from healthcare to hospitality, shipping to NGOs all gather for a 2 day workshop at the Singapore Sustainability Academy. These are the passionate individuals whom are leading their companies’ respective environmental initiatives. During the sharing session, we witness the zest of participants taking on and pitching various ideas; from moving to solar energy and relying less on the grid, to introducing eco-digester to their work canteens.
GreenA led these eager participants on how they could align their environmental goals with the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as the Singapore Sustainable Blueprint. Big ideas need support for implementation and the workshop also covered how participants could get buy in from different stakeholders.
The two day workshop ended with off with a high note with an educational tour to Pulau Semakau.
We’d d also like to give special mention these organisations for supporting the training and development of their staff in the area of environmentalism and sustainability:
Singapore Green Building Council, Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital, Big Ass Fans, Arup, Keppel Club, Singapore Pools, Marchwood Laboratory Services, Ricoh Singapore, NPPMO- Ministry of Health, Avvantage, Singapore Epson, Resorts World Sentosa, Rayde Asia
We hope to see more organisations on board the next cycle of NEA Corporate Environment Champions Workshop happening in March 2018!
