Sustainable Building Awards 2016 - Sustainable Building Awards 2016 focused on accentuating the tireless work undertaken by individuals or firms for their dedication and desire to improve the working and living environment as well as to change the global construction market for the better. We believe that sustainability is a long-term effort. Ashden International Awards 2016 - Established in 2001, the Ashden Awards is a globally recognised measure for excellence in the field of green energy. Organizations in the International category will be awarded based on their work in the developing world. Through Project Kigamboni, GreenA has been longlisted for the 2016 Ashden Awards as one of the 49 green energy organisations from all over the world recognised for the awards! “Sustainability is not limited to those who have the money nor does it require elaborate technology. BCA Internationalisation Partnership Award The LOGOS Metrolink Logistics Hub is a large-scale modern logistics warehouse facility, strategically located in Indonesia. GreenA Consultants served as the ESD Consultant and served as an opportunity for our team to demonstrate environmental design expertise in the regional construction industry. In recognition of the successful overseas collaboration for the proposed development of Metrolink with our fellow collaborators, our project team collectively managed to obtain the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold). First Green-Mark Certified Affordable Housing District in Kigamboni, Tanzania Being the first green certified affordable housing in Tanzania, Project Kigamboni Housing Estate was featured during the launch of Construction21 in France, Paris. GreenA Consultants worked with National Housing Corporation (NHC) to facilitate sustainable urbanization efforts in Africa. The Kigamboni Housing Estate will be setting the benchmark for future housing developments in Tanzania. Centered around energy efficiency, the passive design is conceptualized for the residences in Kigamboni. The beauty of the passive features is that it reduces its dependency on energy without compromising comfort and performance.
